I am again posting this question on behalf of a colleague who is unable to access tek-tips:
I need to make a global change to all digital stations through our OTM (version 2.2), I want to turn on ICDA on all phones. How do I do this? I would like to set it up for off hours and have approx. 700 digital extensions programmed in the switch. How much time should I leave for this 3 -4 hours?
thank you.

First open station admin, then open FILE if you want to make this change to all the sets select all. Next Golbal UpDATE. THen find ICDA in the drop down. Click OK. Old Value (DENIED) NEW VALUE (ALLOWED). I hope this is what you want

I actually went under EDIT then SELECT ALL (which highlighted all the TN's and then clicked on Global Update which brought me to a select data screen, I scrolled down and in that area there is no ICDA option? Also how do I schedule the time I want the changes to be made?

Sorry about that, it is the EDIT not FILE. To transmit the DATA select SYNCHRONIZE: Transmit: Selected: You should see a box (SYNCHRONIZATION) in the box you will see HOLD TIME ....ENTER THE DATE AND START TIME.... Im running OTM 2.10. But I dont know why they would remove the ICDA from the drop down menu ? I show it in my version.

OK, I'm making progress. When I select all stations, then click on Edit, then Select, it brings up a filed that says "Record Selection Criteria", here when I choose one of four options (Data Field, System Field, Function, and Operator)and click on Data Field I see choices and one of them is the ICDA that I am looking for, I click on that and it populates in the screen, but when I click on OK it gives me an error that says "this expression must evaluate to an True/False result please reenter"
Am I on the right path here?

You can select Global Update under Edit. Then look for the ICDA, just below Hunt. Another window will come up. On the Left lower corner is old value and on the Right of that is new value. then click add, Both values move into large window. Then click OK and it will begin to change all of your phones, analog as well.

OK, this is where I must be missing that option because right below Hunt is LDTA? I don't have the ICDA option here? I can find it in the other location I talked about. And I see where I can schedule the change, it's this little piece that I can't input.

I have made this same global update. Open Station Administration, click on EDIT, click on SELECT ALL(OTM will tell you how many stations are selected), click OK, click EDIT, click GLODAL UPDATE, on SELECT DATA FIELD(scroll down to ICDA)select it and click on OK, under OLD VALUE select DENIED, under NEW VALUE select ALLOWED, the click ADD, and the OK, OTM will then go through all the stations, you should then be able to click on VIEW and then PENDING to see the stations that will be changed.

This is Probably a stupid question is the PBX equipment package 108 (ICDR) ?

To Select just Digital sets to update Use Select, from EDIT. Then click on DATA FIELDS and click on INST. The term "STATION->INST" is diplayed. Then type ="M2616". If more set types .OR. and repeat.
ie STATION->INST="M2616".OR.STATION->INST="M2008"
this phrase will only select M2616 and M2008
Then EDIT and Global Update for the actual change.

That's my problem when I choose EDIT/GLOBAL UPDATE the choices are displayed but this particular option is not there? If I go to EDIT/SELECT and then menu pops up and the option is in there, but I don't think that's where I want to be to make this change right?

In the main menu of OTM right click on the site where you want to make this change. You should get another screen with the following tabs GENERAL,COMMUNICATIONS,SYSTEM DATA,APPLICATIONS, CUSTOMERS. Select SYSTEM DATA. At the bottom of the screen you should see a box title PACKAGES-scroll down and see if ICDR is check off.

Do you have Package 108 (ICDR) like GLYNNMSG asked???

If you don't have that package it wont work.

I did a print from load 22 "pkg" and yes 108 is turned on. I already activated this on my station and tested it, but I can't seem to get this where you guys are telling me to go. I thought if I just selected "select" instead of "select all" it might ask me to choose the station types I wanted to make the change to but it doesn't? This is just assuming that maybe when I do a select all that option isn't applicable for all those selected TN's?

open the site then click on file and update system data. After this is completed close the site and then try to open and do the global update. Even though the feature is now on in your system OTM may not know that it is on. This should be resolved after the update is complete. This should be done anytime you make a system change or upgrade the system.
