How do I clear the OTM database so that I can reload all data from scratch. OTM and the system are getting well out of synch. Just tried to create a phone on an existing TN :(

The following works in MAT:
Select all sets
"Global update" the 'Sync Status' to "NEW"
Press delete to delete all sets
Synchronise, Retrieve all.
OTM probably works the same...

I have the same issue wit my OTM. I need to out my entire Station and CPND database so that I can re-download all the information from my switch. The steps given above don't seem to be relevant for OTM.

I have used this method now and it works nicely in OTM.

In OTM the setting to change is

Edit
Global update
SSTAT

I spent ages looking for Synch Status :(

Have fun.

BTW i was nervous so turned off the scheduler to be doubel safe, but didnt need to.

All I can get that to do is change the status of all the sets to OUT. I don't want to out the sets in the switch, I just want to clear the database so I that I can download all the current information.

You only can delete sets in the offline MAT/OTM database if SyncSTATus is NEW, try selecting all the sets again and go via the "Edit" menu to "Global update" and change "SSTAT" from 'OUT' to 'NEW' then delete the sets and retrieve from the M1 database

I just build a new site with the same information and redownload the information. Another way is to retrieve the all sets from the switch, then do a reconcile to remove all the TN's that are in the OTM but not in the switch. This works with CPND data also.

I thought about just building a new site, but I have all my Telecom Billing Stuff that I need to keep. Also, it would get a bit annoying to re-create the site every time you wanted to reload all of your station and CPND data.

We've done this by simply deleting the files from the 'Common Data' folder, look under your particular site and delete the follwing files :-

\meridian\station admin\CPND.dat
\meridian\station admin\listmgrdatabase.mdb
\meridian\station admin\NAME.DAT
\meridian\station admin\STATION.DAT

We also deleted the 'esndatabase.mdb' from the esn folder for belt and braces.

Then go back into OTM and resync eveything (its advisable to update system data before you start.
