OTM 1.2 upgrade to 2.2 prem

Our current version of 1.2 has been EOF, so our vendor is suggesting we upgrade to 2.2. My question is, can we do this ourselves, or is there a reason I should pay them $500 to do the install? Is there somewhere I can review the upgrade instructions, or is it pretty straight forward?

if you have ever upgraded a server then you will not need the book... put in the disk and follow the pop-ups

Isn't OTM end of life?

I can't remember the name of the new software but I am just wondering if you want to outlay money for a product that you may just end up replacing

We are in process of taking out all of our Nortel sites, but it will be two years before we are complete. We are just trying to stay current to an extent. OTM 2.2 is still sustained.

The last time I upgraded to 2.2 it took about half an hour.

I am thinking that I have seen it take as long as 45 minutes.

It is very straight forward

I ordered the software today, so we will see how it goes, but I do not see it being worth 500 to the vendor.
