About 6 months ago, I built a system with the following key components:

1400/266 AMD T-Bird processor
DFI AK76-SN REV A Motherboard

It is dual boot, Red Hat 7.3 and Windows 2K. Any time I try to issue a reboot command, from either OS, the system goes through the shutdown and essentially "goes to sleep" (no signal to monitor, etc..). It then requires a manual case switch reset to physically reboot the system. Any ideas about what may cause this?

Thanks

I would have a look first in your control panel\power options see if you have options for suspend\hibernate. If all seems fine in there perhaps go in to The BIOS(usually hit DEL key on first screen)go in to power management options. There could be a possibility the power supply is at fault. If your unsure....Dont do it!
