OS Language Change

How do I change the language on XP from Spanish back to English as everything is set to English (UK) on the language bar etc. Is there something I'm missing?

try

start>control panel>regional and language options>languages>details>

check if the default input language is set to english if not select add>english and then reboot

You cannot unless you have the MUI version:

Have checked that Bob and it is actually on Home edition so does that mean the version installed on the laptop is a Spanish version then?

XP Home does not support the MUI. So it is safe to assume that they are using a Spanish language localized version of XP Home.
