original message dissapears from sent items after forward

Hi

I got a user with the following prb
original message dissapears from sent items after forward
system OL2002 - Windows XP
things we tried
checked all his settings - ok
restting all his settings -/regserver ...
start >run> outlook /resetfolders /resetoutlookbar...

what else can we do , does anyone had this prb ?

are they deleted or just hidden from view? also, in tools | options | email
| advanced, there is an option to save mail on forwards. could you also be
saving sent items in the folder with the original? option is in the same
area.

yes we checked that

he forwards the mail from the sent item folder and there it dissapears

What do you find under:

Tools, Options, Preferences tab, E-mail Options button, Advanced E-mail Options button? Is 'Save forwarded messages' deselected?
