Orientation of power cables...and simms units

Regarding the power cables attached to the motherboard (with 200mhz pentium)...does it matter which cable (p8 and p9 on most power supplies..but not labled on this one) is on the right and which on the left (with the power supply being to the left of both)?

Also...in installing simms units...are the chips generally facing the power supply...or opposite?
 
Didn't I answer this elsewhere?
P8 and P9 go "black to black" when plugged in.
Simms can only go one way, the center slot isn't quite in the center, so you can't put them in backwards.
