Oracle system datafile restore from disk backup

Issue:- I am backing data to disk, including Oracle using the online agent.
The backup and restore of Oracle is working fine except the restore of the system datafile. The system datafile restore fails whilst it is restoring(10% gets restored), however the restore of this datafile works fine using tape.

Anyone come across this ??
