Oracle programmers are so smug. I should know, my wife is one of them. She's not too bad really. But others, whew!
If any of them do the Church Lady's Superior Dance in front of you remind them that Oracle only just now became fully ANSI compliant with their SQL (they used to have to do all their table joins in the where clause). This isn't a very useful tip but it can be very satisfying. I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.

5 years back , I deployed a manufacturing and financial system based on Oracle backend. [Then], I thought Oracle was IT... After trying MS SQL7 two years back, well , SQL is the king of databases ...By the way I still work with DB2 and to me it is not a database. It is just a monolith, big and ugly file system ...
