Hi,

I used to work for a company where the oracle client didn't need to be installed on every machine. Instead they had a mapped drive with the client install components on, a path setting which pointed to this and some reg settings. For the life of me I can't remember the reg settings that were required.

Has anyone come accross this type of set up an know which reg settings are needed?

Matt

If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you obviously haven't grasped the seriousness of the situation

If you have a working pc with correct registry settings, you may export HKLM/Software/Oracle key. If not, you may export that key from a box where Oracle is installed and then if needed change drive letter.

Regards, Dima
