oracle Dataguard switchover

hi,

We are working on Diaster Recovery plan.
we have production server with oracle 8i+dataguard(AIX)
and Dr server with oracle 8i+dataguard.

Planning for exercise of abort shutdown of production server. Inthis situation , how to bring the standby database to production database using Dataguard.???

if anybody worked on this DATAGUARD swithover .. please show light on this problem./
