oracle control file corrupted

I am running Oracle 7.3 and one of the control files was corrupted. Is there a way to fix the control file without restoring the entire database?
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Try:
1. Shut down the database.
2. Overwrite the bad control file with an uncorrupted one.
3. Start up the database.
