Hi!

I am a newbie in sun solaris OS. Recently, I must work with Oracle Application Server (Oas4.0). I was successfully with Oas in WinNT but I have some problem with Sun Solaris. I installed Oas4.0 in Sun Solaris 5.7 and starting successfully the server (All flag of Oracle Application Server and HTTP Listener were set to blue), however, I failed when runing a application on it ( the application run successfully on Oas - WinNt). The detail is as following:
- When I edit the host file as following:
192.168.131.29 sol7
and query from netscape4.7 browser (from Windows 2000 machine): the Oas started successfully but the application didn't run (it submit the error: "The request did not specify a valid virtual host.")
- When I edit the host file as fllowing:
192.168.131.29 sol7.foo.com
there is the error as above.
When installing Oas I set host: sol7, domain: foo.com
It is very helpful if someone could explain for the reason.
I am looking forward hearing from you.

Thank in advance,
Tien,
