We have the same report used in both SQL-Server and Oracle. Current implementation has 2 reports, one for Oracle, one for SQL-Server. From a maintenance standpoint, this is unacceptable (we have hundreds). We would like to have one report that could work for both. Is there a way to have one report fit both SQL and Oracle?

If you are strictly using Crystal Reports as a stand-alone app, then I doubt it. You're talking about 2 different db drivers.

However, if you had a front-end app in VB, you could pass an ADO recordset to the report, and inside the VB code you could create an ADO recordset from either Oracle or SQL Server. Brian J. Alves
