Oracle 8i Parameter FIle

Would anyone be kind enough to send me a copy of an init parameter file for Win2000/NT? Something that has all the nice-to-have stuff in a configuration?

With some comments on parameters used and those that could be possibly pertinent?

Hi,
Since all installations are different ( depending on many,many things including memory, user counts, etc)
nothing I could send would be any better that the sample init.ora provided with the software - look at the comments
for the small,medium and large settings.

Also go to

http://tahiti.oracle.com

and look through the docs
( you may need to register for Technet;do it..you will find it very useful)
- especially getting started and the dba reference..
