Hi all,
I know the issue of giving controls an XP look has been delt with several times already in different threads. However I have a problem with using the manifest file solution. The software my company are developing use several 3rd party controls. One of them is a third party listbox. When the application is run with the manifest file the settings for this list box seem to "fall off" and the list box appears incorrectly. I have contacted the makers of the control and they gave me several possible solutions, however none of them worked. The only solution that we have is to not to use the manifest file and to replace our buttons with the freeware from innovasys and set the properties of the list boxes to give them a 3d look.
The problem now is that I can't find similar software to the innovaysys softward for check buttons, option buttons, text boxes etc. to give the XP look.
Does anyone know of a way to give controls the XP look without using a manifest file or else of other 3rd party controls that will satisfy our needs??This is a big problem for me and any help would be very much appriciated.
Thanks in advance
Erin
