when putty session opened and logged in... the system will randomly display what appears to be error codes such as:

BUG195
ERR629

etc..

can someone please provide explanation and how to resolve?

Thank you

When you log in just type
ERR BUG195 and ERR ERR629 it will tell you what the errors are

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

thank you!

ERR629
Trunk route data cannot be accessed. Trunk route is specified by NAPS/BARS/CDP data but the route data clock is not available. (how can I find more detail and fix)

BUG195
BLOCK_PTR could not be found in specified queue. Procedure REMOVE (how to clear?)

Well let's get you a more organized set of books first: http://www.ghtrout.com/micromerl/index.html

Don't worry about the BUG message unless there are continuous pages of them. BUG is OK if your system works and you are just learning how to manage it.

The more important ERR629 is followed by other numbers - you need those. Look the error up in your new set of books. Then you know the Route List and Trunk Route you need to work on.

The root of the ERR message you posted is in "BARS" - here is BARS101 http://www.ghtrout.com/bars/index.html

ERR629, you have a non-existant trunk route that is referenced in a Route List Block. Delete the entry in the RLB and the error will stop.

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!
