I need to make a SDI break out cable (from backplane of M1 to SDI 0-1-2) to test and see if the Nortel cable is bad. Anyone have the pinouts from the 9 pin connector to the 3 different ports? I've tried searching, but came up empty handed (maybe bad search words). If anone has this, can they post it here, or maybe in the FAQs?

Thanks.

that would be good pin outs to have, but i've never seen it printed and i've never had one bad

I have replaced many a card due to the SDI port not working, but never a cable. I have never seen the pinouts printed either.

I have replaced a couple of cables. Always the trouble was on port 0

If you have a known working cable, just check continuity. That will give you your pinouts to duplicate. However, you know exactly what pin does what, you'll have a poor mans pinout.
