Optical Disks not working

All of a suden my DVD player and CD Burner will not show up in explorer. So I went into the device manager and there is a red "x" on both of them. When I go in to the properties it says that the device has been disabled so I click on enable and it says that windows cannot enable this device. "The device has been disabled code 22".

What should I do now?

Remove them in device manager and reboot the system. They should be found as new hardware and installed. If not get inside and check the cable connections.
