Does anyone know how to initiate a lamp audit? I think it's in LD 61 but I'm not quite sure.

Look in LD 77

It's only dialtone-VZ

which of course does not update the lamp state.. you need to turn on lamp audit in 77 on any switch newer then 3.0. prior to that it was on by default
