I power outage of a couple of days has resulted in the system not coming back up after power up.

The power was cut off and once restored, it goes through it's regular start up routines, all card lights come on as usual, but no sets or attendant consoles work.

I see the following messages on start up.

Do you have a good backup..probally need to reinstall s/w and then install your known good back up..if you want more info let us know...

No back up. Ugh. Guess I'll have to reinstall and put in the keycodes. Merry Christmas to me. LOL

Is there a quick and easy way to do this?

I assume there's no way to back up what I currently have programmed?

Let me know... I'll be awaiting your reply as I kiss my 'spare time' goodbye! :)

So i throw in the software card to re-install and it says it can't find the 'module.siz' file.

So i pull out the card to check the files, inadvertentky hit the reset button, and it restarts the O/S and everything comes back up fine. Whew!

Lesson learned - back it up.

Can you point me to a FAQ which covers that?

Back it up to a PCMCIA card and get a current 23.55 on another card using CardPro 9, just in case. You might want to invest in a crash kit with an SSC card and a daughter memory card for disaster recovery.

are you back up?

if not there most likely is a back up on the z: drive that could be recovered and loaded from.

Then just a matter of replacing software daughtercard and reloadeing software with recovered backup.
