How do i achieve the following call routing on a Prologic:
All calls to the main number needs to ring at the operator for live daytime answering 8am-6pm;Between 6-8pm all calls to main number should ring to a backup extension (6424D set)for live answering;after 8pm all calls should go to night auto attendant.

Presently there is live call handling 8am-6pm and night service auto-attendant after 6pm.System has only 1 attendant console.

I am thinking about creating a no-member phanthom calling group using the main number. Then create a coverage path with time-of-day coverage to route the calls as required.
How do I get all this to work with the Intuity and will i still need a night service button on the console?Do i need to set up the backup station as Attendant also?
Regards

Its possible to accomplish this by using 2 nite keys on the console (I know there is only one, but I can tell you how to put 2 on there). The attendant would push one night key when she went home forcing calls to the 6424 & then when the 6424 went home he would activate the other key (which could appear on both the console & 6424) to send the calls to VM. When the attendant returned in the morning, she would simply put it back in days. If that would solve your porblem let me know & I will show you how to do it. I can also tell you how to get the calls to transfer on time of day to the 6424 & then that set would put it in nights to force calls to the nite auto attendant.

What about setting up your night service to a terminating ext group and have the backup ext a member of the group.
Then have the auto attendant as the coverage point for it.
