We have two offices (S8700 at headquarters, tenant = 1, and G700s at the remote office, tenant = 2). Today each has their own operator attendant console, each receives their own 0 calls because of tenant partitioning. I've been asked to figure out a way for one operator to cover calls for another operator when she goes to lunch or on break, etc. Any ideas?

The whole point of tennant partitioning is to create two seperate phone systems. I don't personally know of a way to poke a hole through the partition.

The only thing I can THINK to try would be setup an IP Trunk between the two switches...

we have inter-office four digit dialing just fine using two tenant partitions ... is there a better way to set this up (take away tenant partitions?) ... they are in different time zones, etc., and so it's important that the phone clocks show local time, etc.
