OPENSTAGE 15T - Not working

Hi Guys,

I got a OPENSTAGE 15T that is keeps on blinking. Its like a heartbeat blink.
Is this defective already?

It could be plugged in to an analog extension port - well that is what happens when I plug one of those into an analog port.

hehe yes i know that. But it is not plugged to an analog line.

well what version of system is it plugged in to.
Obvious questions - does it work in any port - do other phones of the same type work

Hold down the button '3' when plugging it in or hold down the = menu key when plugging it in - if you get an option change it to optiset/optipoint mode - it may work for you then ?

pressing 3 and = is not working. Maybe this phone can only work on a OSBIZ v2 system.

Question, does unify have software images for Openstage 15T?

Does another TDM phone work on the same point?
Does the phone work when you plug it into the point where there is a working Openstage 15T.

I agree with the others, the pattern of blinking lights normally happens when an Openstage T or Optiset is plugged into an a analogue port.

Check the polarity of the cross connect. The TDM phones will not work if the polarity is reversed. It mihgt look normal on the cross connect but could still be reversed at some point along the way. If your cross connects look good on both ends try a different houe pair.
