Hi there,

if I use Workbooks.Open on a password protected sheet - it brings up a prompt for a password or Read-Only option.
I've disabled the alerts, but the box is still displayed.
does anyone know how I can open this always in read-only?

Have ,ReadOnly:=True option on your Open statement.

Cheers, Glenn.
