Opening files issue....

This is a very strange issue and some feed back would be greatly appreciated.

I have a w2k pro machine that cannot open pdf files, jpg, gif files etc..... from the server (server is w2k 2000 server). You copy the file to the desktop of the machine, you can then open it fine...

I know this is pathetic...... I have never seen this before, it's not the machine nor the profile because it happens on multiple machines. Some feedback would be greatly appreciated.

What are the NTFS security settings for the folder and files on the w2k server? Perhaps write access is required to create a temp file. Kevin Mattson

nope.... Permissions are fine... Full control is set.....
