Opening Excel

When opening Excel 2000, all Excel files that have been opened on the machine open in a constant flurry of files. I can not find a locally cached version of these files any where. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Tools, Options, General tab and see if there is a path for Alternate Startup File LoOcation. Delete whatever is in there.
