My first time here -
This is my prob - any help would be appreciated: -
OK, so i hook up my DV cam to my Firewire and capture the movie into Premiere 6 - everything goes ok thus far.
But then when capturing is done, and Prem opens the movie in a seperate window, the aspect ratio is all wrong - the movies are in 4:3 but it looks like Prem is opening them in 16:9 as they are squashed down.
I have checked the settings and all the aspect ratios and pixel ratios seem to be in order - i'm using D1/DV PAL (1.067).
If i import the file to the Source window it's still squashed, however if i just add it to the timeline, it looks ok in the destination window and also opens properly in Real Player and Media Player.
Any ideas?
