opening Acrobat 7 in a maximized window

This seems like it should be a rather simple option but I cannot find where I can set Acrobat 7 to open up in a maximized window.

As long as you're talking about Acrobat, rather than Acrobat Reader, go to Preferences (might be Settings in Windows)/Page Display/Default Zoom.

If you create a new PDF in Acrobat, or want to change one, open the pdf and go to file menu/Document Properties/Initial Display.
