Opening a pdf in acrobat from link - How?

Hi,

I have a pdf slideshow of photos. For it to run properly it has to be opened in Acrobat (Reader). However, whenever you click on it, it opens it as a pdf window in IE - how can I remedy this so it opens Acrobat to view the file?

today most modern browsers are integrated with PDF so if there is a special feature u need to execute from PDF then zip up the file and have them download it.....
I am sure u have your resason to why u "have a pdf slideshow of photos" but I would reconsider this way of presenting slideshow....DHML or some JS based slideshow would be better suited
