I have a news page on our compnay intranet, and I would like to open this up when a users logins in.

I'm assuming it will need to be initiated in the login script?

Any idea's?

John.

A simple way of doing it would be to set your intranet page as the home page for IE and then add IE to the start up folder. When the PC boots it will load internet explorer everytime. You could do the same with a GPO. Using a GPO you can load programs at startup as well.

I'm sure there is a way to do it using Windows Script Host, but I'm not not experienced with WSH to offer advice on it.

Personally I would make this page all of the users home page (using GP's) and make IE/Netscape/Opera open when they logon.
Either that or have Active Desktop enabled and have the webpage in the desktop.

Good Luck,

Steve.
