After upgrading to XP, whenever I open a spreadsheet created in an earlier version, comment indicators appear on certain cells that were not put there when creating the spreadsheet in the earlier version. Please advise.

Jaebon,
Are they the red triangles in the upper RIGHT corner of the cell or are they the green triangles in the upper LEFT corner of the cell?

The green ones are error checking smart tags that are now a part of Excel XP.

Thanks so much for your reply. The triangles are all green.

In which case, you need to click on one of them to find out the "error" that is being reported and then decide whether you want that to happen. If not, you can go Tools>Options>Error Checking and untick the option that you do not want to show
