I was wondering if anyone knows how I could open the serial port on a Mobile 2003 device from within IE. Basically, I use IE to access some web pages (custom of course), but I need to be able to print a label on a barcode printer attached to the serial port. I have a couple of methods.
1) Have IE print to the serialport (can't find anything like that).
2) Have IE open the serial port and push the information to the printer.
3) Have the web server make a call to the device (rfc maybe?) to open the serial port and push the information to the printer.
Any one have any ideas on how to make that happen?
