?? Open Ports ??

I have to open ports on my point to point router to allow users to do a
\\hostname\directory
at the start, run prompt on Windows OS to access remote server.

I would like to know what ports I need to open to make this works.

Try opening TCP 445 and TCP 139. Be very careful which IP's you specify as these 2 ports are very harmful and viruses exploit them all the time.

Thanks KiscoKid, I know those ports are harmful. I just don't know which ports to pay attention. For users that need access to the remote host, I added them to the allow all list. Thanks again.
