Can I open a .NET app in VB6 sp5?? If so, how do I do it?

Thanks for your answer...

I have not been able too. It is not even easy to open a VB6 app with .net, but it will work.

Thanks, Becca.

I needed to open a .NET app in a VB6 environment. Let's wait and see if someone else has.

Thanks again.

I think you'll be seriously out of luck -- not only are the technologies seriously different, but the file structures are also very different. Try something like SharpEdit or Notepad instead.

Ok, thanks! Now I wonder why Microsoft would do that... I guess it's all about the money, huh?

Let's see .. Microsoft is a business .. businesses exist to make money and supply goods and services that consumers want or needs. Would they do something that would be really bad if they thought it would not make money? ofcourse not.

They completely redsigned VS.net in order to help make it possible for various different programming languages talk to each other. A good idea in theroy, but will take time for folks to get really excited about it.

In the end, it is about money, but not about making life harder on us, that is just a by product of progress.
