I was getting a lot of "errno24 - Too many open files" during my batch process. I increased the number of open files to 15,360 from the default of 1024. The problem seems to went away. However, something telling me that I might be missing some other parameters that should been under consideration as well. Does anyone here know what other parameters that I should also look at?
