Open dialog in MS Access is slow 1

Looking to export a table and finding the destination db is very slow as opening the folders within the export dialog is so slow.

I'm not sure about Access, but certainly in Word and Excel the usual reason for the Open (or SaveAs) dialog being slow is because of a dead mapped drive or URL.
