Does anyone know how to open a file in Visual Basic .net after it has been associated with the application. For example, I have a VB project that is a Crystal Report viewer. I would like to to associate .rpt files with it and open the report by double clicking on a shortcut.

Open Windows Explorer
Tools Menu
Folder Options
File Types Tab
Scroll down the list to RPT
Advanced button
Select "Open" Action
Edit button
Alter values to match your new application
