Open Access from Excel 2

How can I open a table in an Access 2000 database from Excel 2000? I would like to create a macro for this and assign it to a button. Thank you.

I worded it incorrectly. What I would like to do is open up the application (Access, with a particular database) and a certain table or form within the database (if possible).

What exactly are you attempting to accomplsh beyong opening Access? Get data from Access into Excel?

The Excel file is only log for various database changes. One of the databases is an Access database and I want the user to be able to go to that database by clicking a button.

CreateObject("WScript.Shell").Run Chr(34) & "\path\to\the database.mdb" & Chr(34), 3
