OOF and Lotus notes

Guys,

Sorry for another post so quickly, We have just discovered that Out of office messages do not pass throught eh lotus notes connector the the lotus environment?

Does any body know why this is, We understand why they dont come from notes to exchange but there is no logical explanation for why they dont go out...
