I have one person on my e-mail list who is not getting the mail I send to primary address which is simflex.com I can get thru to the secondary yahoo.com address but am concerned why the primary address is not working. The adressee claims my e-mail address has not been put on the blocked senders list. Is it possible that any of the blocked e-mail address's on that list could effect my email also?? Anyone out there had this problem?? I am on MSN IE which is also hotmail.Sendee is on simflex.com
Thanks in advance for any tid-bit of your expertise you can supply.

Howdy Jerry:

I have to ask the obvious first, but do you have the right email address?? Is it spelled correctly??

Have them send you an email and reply to it. That should place their email address in your "Contacts" list.

Murray

Yes. I have the correct e-mail address. I have double checked my contacts address book to confirm the correct address is listed. As I mentioned in my prelimary post, I can still contact thru the secondary address but the primary e-mail (simflex.com) is somehow blocked and the addressee has not entered my address into "BLOCK SENDER" . They have replied to mail sent to them via Yahoo. I have also sent the indentical mail to BOTH address's with notation of this to ask for a reply of which mail address was sucessfully delivered. When I do this I am informed that the yahoo mail was the one. Thanks for the response . I inadvertently checked the ONLY E MAIL box. I have unchecked that one.

I forgot to mention that all mail sent to this address is NOT returned as "undeliverable" If I have an incorrect address I am almost instantly informed that I have sent mail to an unknown address and that it was NOT delivered .

Jerry:

Never said it would be returned "undeliverable".. If the correct email was user@simplex.com and you had userr@simplec.com, as long as there was a valid email address of "userr@simplex.com", the mail WOULD be delivered !!

Lastly, what is YOUR email server address? Have the person that is not getting the email through their ISP check to make sure your server has bot been blocked at the source for some reason !!

Many ISP's are beginning to block "proxy server" addresses and simply declaring them SPAM mail !!

My e-mail server address is ***user***@msn.com . I believe this is a premium ISP (subscription cost anyways). I have just finished reading something about what you mentioned about some ISP spam blockers. It is in a ZDNET letter today. I am begining to suspect that could be suspect but I do not know how to rememdy. Do you have any hints on how my email addressee can check this out with their ISP ?? That would be SIMPLX.COM

OOOPs That ISP is simflex.com Excuse please

The people who can't get your email would have to do that. They should contact their ISP's email abuse helpdesk.

Murray

Thanks for all your input Murray. I will contact them and suggest the do that very thing. Do you think if I asked them to remove ALL their blocked senders from their list right now and re-try sending a message & using their primary once more would be better verification that their ISP spam program block is the cause of this problem? Just a thought!

Jerry:

Worth a try, but make sure they copy the "blocked senders" list so they can return it.

Also, one more thing.. Blocked senders can also refer to domains.. make sute they haven't blocked @msn.com

Murray

Good Point ! I will advise them of that post haste. Thanks once again Murray . Still wondering if ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE has had this happen to them!!??? Hummmm!?
