Since I had a poll back in may regarding what AntiVirus Administrators installed on their Exchange Servers, I am now interested in which Software you use for backing up your Software.

Now, I'm not sure whether it depends on what drive/media you have, but I'm getting seriously cheesed off with NTBACKUP. Total lack of features.

Think I'm gonna take the plunge and buy.... Symantec?

Their AntiVirus for Exchange is real nice. Much better than the Sybari Antigen or whatever it was called. Looked like a peice of software that was coded in DOS 15 years ago.

We use Veritas Backup Exec, it does the job effectively, no trouble with it so far

We use Arcserve 11.5 and it does job effectively, though you can't restore individual (brick level) mailboxes in different locations

Without ever doing a restore I can automatically see the advantage of restoring single mailboxes.

Although I've not yet had a user ask me is this possible.

I've ordered Symantec Veritas, so we'll see how it goes...
