on the switchboard manager page im trying to add another item but it says that the maximum allowed is 8,is there a way around this? i there a way i can add a few more?

What I did in my database was create a blank form with a tab card layout, then populated the different cards with command buttons linking to the various forms. Then I made this the autoexec, so when the database is started by a user all they see on the screen is the tab cards and buttons. works great for me. By doing this there is no limit.
Do a search for tab.
