One-X Quick Edition

Does any one know if an IP4620SW set will work on G10 One-X
Gateway. So far I can't get it to work. I've read the books and searched here for info, but I haven't had any luck.

I do not think they will work. It uses the 9600's

Avaya Lab says the IP4610SW and IP4621SW will work with
One-X G10. They say the only difference in the 4620SW and the 4621SW is the 4621SW has a back light. I thought maybe the 4620SW would work with the G10 One-X

It is my understanding that the 4620 will work, but you will need the One-X Quick Edition firmware for the phone. in order to get the firmware from the download manager off of the Avaya support site, you will need to have a support contract with Avaya.

It's a different software. One-X uses SIP to communicate with the Gateway and phones.

I did go as far as signing up for Avaya support, But then they said they were going to send a bill and it didn't say how much the support was. So I didn't do it.
Is there any other way I can get the SIP firmware?

Don,t no if this on is for the one-x.
I use it in combination with a sip-server.

I downloaded the tftp 2000 and the sip firmware, but how do I go about getting it into the phone. I follow the directions but it doesn't seem to work.
