I was able to get one-x preferred working both android and iphone on server edition and everything appears to work except when I press play for a voicemail the pop-up says "failed to fetch voicemail" Clearly I have done something wrong. Can anyone help? Thanks

We had the same with our AppServer and solved it by upgrading to 9.1.6

Thanks for the suggestion but the upgrade did not help. I seems like the one-x login is not allowing access to the messages but to everything else

For anyone interested he is another thing I have noticed. If I use call assistant to log into onex, voicemails and call history never syncs with the system. If I log into onex from the browser without using call assistant, messages and history populate very quickly. anyone else experience this? on 9.1.6 now.

Does your VM Webservice work? What does the Voicemail provide with 1XP Admin say?

Interesting. I never use that so I just tried it and got "HTTP Server Allows Avaya Clients Only" so then I changed the setting in manager to allow any client and now I get "Embedded File Server File Does Not Exist"

If you haven't been through it already, this post has some really good info in it. You might want to see what the link being generated looks like and that it works when you manually access it.

You may also want to make sure your XMPP domain and primary server host name match. It's mentioned in 2.2.5 IM/Presence. I'm not sure if this has an impact on voicemail.

John563 I have this setup and it is not working. Cannot get voicemail to play from app.

So just to confirm does anyone have one-x preferred on android working to where you can play the message from the app? Like I said, everything works but this.

It seems the only thing stopping me is the player on my android will not play the file type. I assume it is a .wav file but voicemail to email works so I'm not worried about it.

What IP address do you have in one-x for the voicemail provider, 127.0.0.1 or the actual IP address of the server?

If the former put the latter as this has always worked for me in the past.

Thanks for the suggestion Pepp77 but that broke the voicemail piece completely.

So when you entered the actual IP address of the voicemail into the one-x voicemail provider it broke the voicemail?

Never seen that before, but then I always set this at point of creation. However the odd time I have had to amend it I had no issues.

You did remember to restart one-x didnt you?

No. When I enter 127.0.0.1 it breaks. When I have the actual IP in I see the voicemails, but still get failed to fetch voicemails when I try to play. It looks like a bug to me, that's why I asked if anyone had this working both in and out of the LAN, but I don't put it past me making a mistake.

I can confirm I definitely have it working on multiple sites.
