One-X Portal 1

I have installed One-X Portal on Server 2008 and when the installation finishes I go into services and I do not see "Avaya one-x" like the documentation tells me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong in the installation, any advice?

Almost without exception when you don't see the service it is because you didn't have a user created that had one-X services enabled before you installed the software.

You are correct. I will have to add somebody and then reinstall the software.

Uninstall Delta Server and then reinstall One-X

the problem was because deltaserver and 1xp use the same port 8080 uninstalling is one option, reinstalling 1xp on port 8090 or any other free port should also work. You only need to chage the port in the browser. Checking a free port ca be done in a dosbox with netstat -a

Something is wrong with Avaya's Install, because when I installed it I used port 9235 everytime - this should not have conflicted with Delta Server. Why uninstalling delta server worked I dont know, but magically it did.
