one-X Portal upgrade (Linux)

I have tried several times to upgrade by just placing a DVD in and rebooting for a Linux box. I never see the option to UPGRADE as shown in the manual. It is always a fresh install wanting to wipe the drive.

Am I missing something?

Are you sure? It should give a screen with upgrade or instal.
but you can also upload the rpm's to the folder/var/cache/Avaya/apps.
Then you login in to the webcontrol page.
Then Hopi to updates and update them.
I always do the system files and the vmpro and the used language and n the rest of the voicemail rpm's

Had a bad DVD that would not give options try a different DVD if you have one.

I now see that you only run One-X Portal.
Then i would just use my method.
Upload the One-X Portal rpm and login and and update.
