Hi all.. I have an IP 500 R6 control unit.. I also have OXP and VM pro running in win2008 r2 server. I'm a noobie to OXP. I can log in as a user in OXP in IE11 but not to chrome and firefox. When I log in using those browsers, it seems to always be “loading” – the little wheel that spins in the browser bar is always spinning thus I can't write a number to call someone.. what version of chrome and firefox does it work...?

I notice, when I'm calling using the web, the IP phone also calls which I think normal. But when plug out the IP phone meaning no live extension. I can't make a call. Do OXP portal can't make a call alone without the presence of a live extension?

In addition, I can't play voicemails thru web. When I click play, I can see on the browser it's playing but no sounds. But I play it using a hardphone by hittting *17. Windows sound services and Vm pro services are already started on the win2008 r2 server. I know I'm missing something here. I installed IIS. Please see attached screenshot:

It is said on One-X portal for IP Office 6 manual that "The Voicemail Pro voicemail server installation should include the Web Voicemail (UMS) component". If they are "NamesGreetings", "PersonalGreetings", "VoicemailAccounts" that is seen on IIS default website, they are automatically installed. I'm just having a hard time on IIS server response on Even I replace it to its server ip address, its 404 error. Please help..

Please help....

First, no, you cannot make a call with OXP without a live extension. It's not a softphone.

Second, Did you install vmpro *after* you installed IIS? Did the installation see the IIS, and allow you to select the web voicemail component?

Hi aacon, thanks for reply. I see..is OXP can be used in a digital phone? I noticed it's not working on analog phone..I can log in using a user of analog extension but I can't make a call..

With regard to voicemail, I installed first IIS then VM pro.. Upon installation of vm pro, I just chose custom and ticked Vm pro web campaign. I reinstalled vm pro many times due to troublehooting and didn't see IIS, and allow me to select the web voicemail component. I dont think you could encounter this in vm pro 6.0. What version did you see tiis? When I'm log in thru web, I can play the voicemail thru OXP where I can hear it in the phone..

If you want
A productive environment using One x and it's functions etc then analogue phones aren't the best choice anyway apart from the fact it doesn't work :)

If you did not install the Web voice-mail component, then you did not do it right which is why it's not working. Trust me, it's there, I do this for a living. Your iis was set up incorrectly.

Thanks for the commnent amriddle01..AAcon,on what kind of installation would I see this web voicmail set up..compaq,custom or advance..?Could you install vm pro 6 and uninstall it later just to have a screen of this web voicemail component??? I hope I'm not asking too much..[rednose] and by the way, is digital phone will work or paired on OXP? It seems tht analog isn't working..

Hi AAcon, hoping for your kind response..Hi everyone, it will be really appreciated for any help you could advice.. Thank you.

You would do a custom installation, the ums web voicemail component will show up at the bottom, if it detects a properly installed IIS. Make sure you install the cgi/asp as well, with the iis installation, or it'll fail to recognize it. You could go back and install the web voicemail component, but really you want to have iis installed FIRST, then install voicemail.

Yes, digital phones work with OXP...
