2nd question of the day for me. Ive got a customer using one-x Portal, recently I took everybody down to 2 CA buttons and reserved the last one so they could get a busy tone or voicemail depending on the user, they didnt like the multiline features. Anyway the problem appears to be that in one-x portal the users that dont have voicemail enabled and get the engaged tone one-x does not show them as being busy..?? Any ideas why?

You need to provide more details.
Software versions if the ipo and 1xp are needed.
Also be sure that there are no ports blocked in the 50000 range

honey, i fried the IP Office !!!

Ok cheers, the one-x and vmpro are the latest just released this quarter, the ipo 500 is on version 6.08 software but on a v1 box.

Then upgrade your ipo to 6.0.18.
It may not fix that problem but you really need to put the ipo on 6.018 before you end up with a default config :)

The latest 1XP does show blf status for users so it is not that software.
I think 6.0.8 isn't issue either.
I think the blf port is blocked.

Does the blf work on the phones ?

I will upgrade it next time Im onsite, because its a v! box without the sd card it shouldnt have the default config problem (I think) theres now firewalls in place and ifI enable voicemail for the users then the busy feature works again?? They do get an engaged tone if you phone these extensions when they are inuse..

You are right, forgot about that.
Although an upgrade will fix reboots caused by parked calls which isn't a nice feature :)

Check if ports 50791 till 50813 are open.
BLF uses port 50799 so you could try that one first.
