One-x Mobile Supervised Transfer

The User guide says this is possible, but when you press Transfer and then dial the next party nothing happens (it doesn't call the new party) unless you press transfer again which is then an unsupervised transfer. They are using IPhones if that makes a difference. Can anyone verify if a supervised transfer will work like the user guide states? They have the latest R10 software running both IPO and One-x.
